General Terms & Conditions, applying to the whole Lion IT website

These terms and conditions regulates the services that “We” Lion IT Pty. Ltd. (trading as Lion IT), ABN 17 607 412 751, offer to “You”, the customer.

Given the dynamic nature of the IT industry, we cannot guarantee that all the information displayed on the website is always accurate.
While we put all the possible efforts to avoid inconsistencies, some circumstances out of our control may lead to unforeseen changes in displayed price and delivery time.

In case a product you ordered had an unexpected variation in price or availability, we reserve the right to put such order on hold, promptly communicating to you the updated price and expected delivery time.

In the remote case a product should become permanently out of stock we will put your order on hold and will advise on alternative solutions. We will try to respect your budget and requirements and will promptly communicate this alternative solution to you.

In case an order has been put on hold due to products unavailability or price variation, you will be provided the option to receive a full refund.

We accept credit card payments from VISA and Mastercard networks and PayPal.
www.lionit.com.au apply a 2.5% + $0.40 surcharge for payments made with credit cards or PayPal.

Bank transfers are accepted at no additional cost.
Your order processing will start as soon as your payment is confirmed from our bank.

We may offer coupons that will enable you to obtain special discounts or other advantages when used during the checkout process.
Unless otherwise specified these coupons should be considered non-cumulative, non-transferable, non-reusable and not redeemable for cash.

We may sponsor special promotions and offers. Special conditions may apply in these cases. We recommend you to read the specific terms.

Delivery charges will be shown during checkout process.

A tracking service is available for all orders; the tracking code and address will be communicated as soon as it will be made available by the delivery carrier.

All the deliveries are covered by insurance against damages and loss up to a value of $1000; should you wish to buy additional cover for the shipment, you should contact our sales team at [email protected] prior of finalizing the order.

All the deliveries requires signature on delivery and no ATL (Authorization to Leave) are issued unless clearly requested by the customer.
We are unable to ship to parcel lockers or P.O. boxes.

In case you are unable to receive the parcel during the first delivery attempt, different re-delivery policies may apply depending on the specific delivery carrier. In case you need further information contact us at [email protected] for further assistance.

The goods are considered at your risk once the goods leave our premises for the delivery.
Should the delivered goods result clearly damaged or tampered an endorsement must be made in writing on the Proof of Delivery at the time of receiving the goods. You must also immediately send us the information regarding the nature of the damages at [email protected].

No Australian GST is collected on orders placed from outside the Australian territory (Eg. New Zealand).
In these orders Lion IT acts as Exporter, while the customer act as Importer.

Eventual import duties, custom fees and GST may be due by the importer and are to be paid upon arrival at the local customs.

Pending payment: this state is usually very short lasted and is changed to “On Hold” as soon as you have completed your payment and finalized the order.

On Hold: we have put your order on hold. This usually happens due to your payment still being processed (we have not yet taken the funds from your Credit/Debit card or haven’t received yet your Bank transfer).
It can also happens due to additional security and identity checks on payments or unexpected products unavailability.

Processing: your payment has been confirmed; your order is being prepared and tested. Once shipped you will receive a communication with your tracking code.

Complete: we usually have another happy customer at this stage 😀

Your order can be flagged with other statuses, namely “Cancelled”, “Refunded” or “Failed”. All of these are self-explanatory.

If the order has “On hold” status at the date of cancellation request, the order can be cancelled with no extra fee.

If the order advanced to “Processing” status at the date of cancellation request, a fee of 25% of the total amount will be charged to cover expenses already sustained.

Orders in “Processing” status, but already delivered, cannot be cancelled.

We do not accept returns for non-faulty items.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

 

All orders benefit from a Labor and Parts Warranty (hereinafter referred as “Standard Warranty”), which duration is set to one year starting from the shipping date of the products, unless otherwise specified and provided by Law.

Lion IT will repair or replace your product at no charge if found to be defective due to a manufacturing fault during the warranty period.
The warranty excludes damage caused by misuse, neglect, shipping accident, incorrect installation, or products tampered with or serviced out by anyone other than a Lion IT Support Representative.

During the Standard Warranty cover, the costs to deliver the product back to you are included in the warranty.
Unless otherwise specified, the costs to return the item to our premises are at your expense.

In the event a repair will not be feasible or economically convenient, we will replace your product with a product of equal value.

A sales receipt must be provided with every warranty claim.

Kindly note that, given the high value of the products sold, special anti-tamper measures are employed to avoid unauthorized opening of the builds or products supplied by Lion IT; should we ascertain that the system has been serviced or opened outside of our authorized repair centers, we will be unable to cover the repair under warranty.

Additional Extended Warranty cover may be available for purchase with certain products.
For Extended Warranty, different terms may be valid; ensure of reading the Terms & Conditions specific to the warranty you are purchasing.

An Extended Warranty can be voluntarily purchased. The Extended Warranty will prolong the time upon which you can claim repair or compensation for manufacturing faults of the Product covered by said Warranty.

The benefits under your Extended Warranty are in addition to your rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law, any other law that applies to the goods or services that you purchase from us, and the Standard Warranty relating to your Product.

Aside than from the duration, the Extended Warranty is bound to the same conditions and limitations applying to the Standard Warranty.

The Extended Warranty is transferable in case you are gifting or selling the Product to another party.
You will have to communicate us, writing to [email protected], your willing to transfer the Extended Cover, including the details of your order and the details of the person receiving the Product.

Our privacy policy outlines our approach to privacy and how we collect, use and protect your personal information.

The above information are needed to successfully process your orders, contact you about your order status and answer your inquiries.

The above information are stored in our databases, based in trusted servers located in Australia.

We highly value your privacy, we aim to protect the confidentiality of your purchases and will not disclose the details you provide to us to third parties, unless strictly needed to process your purchases or required by Law.

Should you decide to complete your payment with either a Credit/Debit card or PayPal you will be required to provide your payment information.

For Credit Card payments you will need to provide:
Credit Card number
Cardholder name
Credit Card expiry date
Credit Card verification code

For PayPal payments you will need to provide:
PayPal account username/email
PayPal password
Credit cards and PayPal payments are processed through a secured connection (SSL) directly from our banking partner.
These information will NEVER transit on our servers and we will NEVER have access to your complete Credit Card number and verification code.

Should you decide to complete your payment with a Bank Transfer you will be required to provide our account details (provided to you during the checkout process) to your banking partner.

We will have no access on your banking details, as these are held and processed by your bank.
